Pop singer, folk singer, new wave icon, drug addict and a one-woman army against the misogynistic male gaze. In the fictional Ministry Against Oblivion – a Terry Gilliam-like world of screens and devices led by Tilda Swinton – we meet a real, unscripted Marianne Faithfull, who guides us through the singer’s amazing life and career. And as the crowning glory, a final duet between Faithfull and her good friend Nick Cave. It turns out to be her last performance.
