Impressive and lifelike orca from schleich®.
The large toothed whale is easy to recognize by its black and white markings – and they actually serve a purpose. The white underside helps it stay hidden from animals swimming below. Even though the orca is a very large animal – it can grow up to 9 meters long and weigh between 5 and 9 tons.
Luckily, the big schleich® orca isn’t as dangerous as the real one – also known as the killer whale. In the wild, orcas eat up to 250 kg of fish and sea animals per day. Orcas are very social whales. They live, travel, and hunt in groups – often in large family pods.
Did you know that orcas belong to the dolphin family?
The whale measures 20.2 x 7.8 x 10.6 cm.
