Meet Birk and the story behind Bird of the Year
Birk is a colourful tribute to the Nordic landscape with a light green head, aqua beak and a deep green-blue teal body that exudes spring, forest floor and lake shore. The light blue legs complete the look, which sparkles with playfulness and joie de vivre. Birk is produced in a limited number and engraved with the year. Bird of the Year is slightly smaller than the classic Songbird – but just as charming. Since the summer of 2021, we have let consumers vote for Bird of the Year, and in 2025, Birk flew away with the victory. It thus joins the ranks of Poppy, Jackie, Flora, Bella – and now Birk.
