Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel (August 19, 1883 – January 10, 1971), better known as Coco, grew up without parents and still managed to end her life like one of the most popular designers in the world, where she founded the Chanel brand and house I 1909. She started her carrier in 1910, in a shop on 31 Rue Cambon in Paris (Where the shop still is today), as a hatter, because the building already had a clothes shop. It did not last long, and already in 1923, she opened a clothes shop, however, on another address.

Coco Chanel's modern philosophy, was inspired by the men creations and the persecution of simplicity, made her a very important character in the 20th century's fashion history. Her extraordinary influence did that she was the only person, inside her field, who was mentioned in "Time 100: The most Important people of the Century".
